Berlin from a completely different perspective

If you have been at and around the Brandenburg Gate, gone up into the glass dome of the Reichstag and have visited the government district, you need new perspectives. Various organizers offer exciting and interesting alternatives to the typical sites. New are “berlinwalks” in English. On top of the usual tour there are “Jewish Life in Berlin” or quite exciting “Berlin – Nest of Spies” and furthermore “Infamous Third Reich Sites”. The organizer “Lügentour” promises to show the true Berlin or that which others do not talk about. The tour “Schwullesbisches Schöneberg der 20er Jahre” (gay-lesbian Schöneberg of the roaring 20ies) is not for the bashful. Of course other walks through different districts can also be booked. On top of that the organizer offers to plan your wedding, company outings or birthdays, bike, bus and boat tours are also available.
Movin’Queer offers tours which others do not cover in their programme. Manager Dagmar Trüpschuch gives tours tailored to your needs, puts together individual leisure and culture programmes, helps you in finding rooms or an escort to accompany you to events and last but not least offers tours on Berlin´s gay-lesbian history. One tour takes you to locations explicitly associated with women. At the end of August “Tour de femmes” is a bike tour to the outskirts and beyond Berlin.
The special tours on the S.R.ComedyBus by Schröder Reisen are really queer. Here comedians take care of the customers. Edith  Schröder, “housewife and trash transvestite from Neukölln”; Drag Queen Jutta Hartmann or comedian Jundula Deubel are the tour guides through Moabit. At Schröder Reisen every bus tour is a little surprise package, whether it takes you to the Bundeskanzleramt or the hot dog take out. Tours start off in Schöneberg on Motzstraße.
