Cabaret is alive
Shows, stand up comedy, musical cabaret and satire can be enjoyed at Bar jeder Vernunft and Tipi next to the Kanzleramt. Gayle Tufts, Tim Fischer or Klaus Hoffmann appear in the nostalgic mirror tent of Bar jeder Vernunft. The Fabulous Singlettes swing, Malediva talk in bed and Dominique Horwitz sings Brel at Tipi. Theater O-Tonart has established an ambitious programme in the off-scene. This house ensemble presents lovely playback theatre and interprets film classics anew. Also numerous guest appearances.

Sexy acrobats
Wintergarten´s nostalgic touch entices its audience with very different variety shows A new addition to the programme are Wintergarten-Spotlights including Jazz, literature and chansons. Theater Chamäleon established itself with innovative acrobatic shows performed by young ensembles. Starting February “The 7 Fingers” present their new show “Loft”. Friedrichstadtpalast is the venue for the big shows. “Yma” continues with its successful show featuring dance and world class acrobatic followed by “Show:Me”.

Classical Notes
Due to renovation work, the artists from the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, in the meantime perform in Schiller Theater. Extracts from the programme: Alban Berg´s “Lulu” and Puccini´s “Tosca”. The Staatsballet perform for example “Caravaggio” at different locations. Deutsche Oper shows “Don Carlo”, “Die Zauberflöte” and the ballet “Romeo and Julia” among others. Komische Oper stages “Die sieben Todsünden” with Dagmar Manzel. Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt offers classical music in three different halls!

Suspense and humour
Berlin Kriminaltheater is not far from Friedrichshain´s night life district. Classics like “Arsenic and Old Lace” are staged in the former electric plant. The Kookaburra Comedy-Club provides the stage for newcomers, performing as comedians of any kind. Interesting talents with queer background can be discovered here. Also special nights in English. Great Stand-up Comedy is provided by Quatsch Comedy Club celebrating its 20th anniversary!
